Meet Tricia
I have always been passionate about the field of speech-language pathology. I initially thought that I would like to be a sign language interpreter but things changed when one of my nieces was diagnosed with Autism. I saw the impact of therapy on her communication and began to understand and appreciate the importance of Speech-Language Pathology. After witnessing the difference that was made for someone so close to my family, I realized that I too wanted to leave such a mark on the life of others.
I received my BA in Communication Sciences & Disorders from Augustana College and my MS in Speech-Language Pathology from St. Ambrose University. While in grad school, I began creating resources and materials for my students and clients. While completing my internship at a local elementary school, my supervisor encouraged me to sell materials on TpT since she enjoyed using all of the resources I had created. I absolutely love sharing my creations and ideas with other SLPs and am so happy to have the opportunity to help others create engaging therapy sessions for their students! |
